i initially didn't consider the racial aspects of the cartoon by naming it vanilla. the story behind the name is that a good friend of mine critiqued my first cartoon series Marshal's Law and refered to some of them as "vanilla." i knew what he meant: sweet not biting, an easy chuckle not a gasp. i thought it'd be funny to name a cartoon series vanilla. my friend thought it was funny...
